Ramble.
- Ramble about random things. .. Nothing interesting has happened today aside from getting a call from my clinic about my chronic migraines. Iām getting stronger medication and theyāre going a blood pressure test on me to see if anything is super wrong since theyāre long lasting. Aah, other than that, just a pathetic little ramble from yours truly.
I so badly love Pressureā¦ Itās a stupid thing to be into, I must admit, but the whole premise of it is so great to me. The marine life, the SCP references and the whole entire lore of it is so fascinating to me that I canāt help but love it even more.
My favourite is so heavily p.AI.nter if you couldnāt tell by him being in my favourite characters list. I think our (Sebpainter) relationship is so strong and despite knowing each other for a couple of days in canon, the interactions make it feel like we are lifelong friends, soulmates, whatever you want to call it. He is so interesting as a characterā¦ I will always read his wiki and feel so much guilt for what he went through with his creator and the situation he is in. Sebastian (my source) is so kind towards him, letting him know he isnāt a horrible person when Painter asks and tells him that they both will escape the blacksite together, Painter even asking Sebastian to draw a landscape for him when they get out and said landscape being somewhere Sebastian remembers from his childhood. That interaction as a whole is so important to me because it really does prove how Sebastian trusts and loves Painter..
When Painter is ārescuedā by expendable, the way Sebastian reacts is so heartbreaking. There are 3 different tones in the reaction, depending on what you getā¦ One is Sebastian getting mad, screaming and breaking things whilst hunting down expendable, the other one is him, again, screaming and also crying, staying with Painter and exclaiming āwhat have they done to youā. After a while, he then goes off to find expendable. The last tone is the worst one that resonates with me the most. As much as all of them are things that I resonate with, the last one being that Sebastian cries next to Painter, quietly telling Painter he will fix himā¦ that Painter is everything he had and that he canāt lose him as well. Their relationship is my everything.. Itās honestly both me and my partner and Iām so attached to the characters. Iām extremely happy itās one of my sources and Painter being my partners source.
Both me and my partner got into Pressure a month after its release and we played for hours. We have almost all the badges and we also bought the Sebastian plush back in September 2024 when it was first being made. We both adore this media, our sources. I canāt be more than happy to express that I enjoy this with my entire being and that itās truly the best mix of things in a game ever.
I prefer games over shows, I do. I think playing the experience is so much better than watching it which is why Pressure is so good for me and my partner since we both enjoy games more than shows or movies. The whole aquatic life of the game is also my favourite. Iām a little bit of a ānoobā when it comes to knowing marine life, but my partner knows A LOT about it. Heās been studying it since he was youngā¦ the same with his medical spinterest but thatās unrelated haha.
When he talks about the different types of marine life in Pressure it makes my heart skip a beat. He explains to me all the different anatomy parts of me (Sebastian) and what I was fused with etc. I really think he is so interesting and smart, I love him so much. My little doll, my patient. Heās so important to meā¦
